I was just run off by the UVAWISE campus police for having my dog on campus. Apparently a women with a bunch of dogs got loose a few weeks ago (none of which were on the leash) and a campus cop was bit in the process of attempting to collect the dogs. Now I am there today for an hour and a half with my English Bulldog, which is a 1 year old pup basically, on a leash, after an hour and a half I am told I have to leave, because of what happened. A women with random dogs, not on a leash, that wanders onto the UVAWISE campus and I am told to leave.
This just another reason why I do not like UVA WISE, being an alum, minding my own business, having person after person (including children) come up to me and pet, play and just ask about my dog, I am told to leave, I take my dog there at least once a week, then all the sudden this happens.
Im not pleased.
